CONTROL BURN PROCEDURES

If you live within 4.5km of the Forestry, you are REQUIRED to obtain a Burn Notification Permit from MOE –  306-865-4400.  If you are planning to burn within the RM limits please contact the Provincial Control Burn.  Be prepared to provide your,

• Land Location, including the RM
• Details of Burn – what you are burning, how long it will last, etc.
• Phone Number and Name.
• Driving directions to the nearest Fire Department.
• You will be asked to call back once the burn has been complete.

Under Saskatchewan’s laws you are responsible for any fire you light and responsible for ALL fire suppression costs and liability.
